Stage 2 Paint Correction
Detailing Kingdom Fluid Dynamics DK9
Black cars are every detailer's nightmare. But the finished results are usually the best looking shine. It always reminds us the reason why love detailing - the result we spent hours, sometimes even days to achieve.
"When passion meets perfection"
Firstly, we pre-soak the car with a snow foam and high pressure rinse it off to loosen up heavy dust, dirt and grime from the previous track day.
Utilising Detailing Kingdom's Car Hydra premium car shampoo in conjunction with a 2-bucket method wash and sheep skin wash mitt, we safely clean the car without causing existing damage to the paintwork.
We then use dK's Wheel X to clean the wheels and paintwork by lifting iron fallout particles (ferrous) safely due to its true pH 7 neutral solution. Following up with a clay-bar treatment process to completely remove any contaminants on the paint.
We dried the car by using a microfibre waffle weave towel, we avoid using chamois (shammy) because a chamois is one of the main reasons paint imperfections is caused.
With only about 26,xxx kms on the clock, the paintwork is really bad. Possibly caused by improper delivery methods from the dealership (holograms) and improper caring methods from the owners of this car.
After thorough examination of the paintwork, a Stage 2 Paint Correction is then carried out to remove 90% of the imperfections, using Detailing Kingdom Next Cut series compounds and pads.
Finishing Step (LSP)
Detailing Kingdom DK9 is a polymer based sealant with a very high polymer content, often used as a Part B/Top Coat for Quartz Coatings too - because not only it provides a good finish, it also provides contains hydrophobic properties.
