After the preparation stage, a masking on rubber trims and plastics, thorough inspection is then carried out and perform a couple of test spots to figure which combination works the best.

There are many ways to clean your car's wheel. In this article, we are showing our method of How to Clean Your Wheels, using Wheel Woolies and a Iron Fallout Remover Wheel Cleaner. 

Please take note that there is no right or wrong way to clean your wheels, individuals and detailers clean them differently using different technique. We are just sharing our way of cleaning them. 

There are several of wheel cleaners out there. In this article, we are using Detailing Kingdom's Wheel X pH Neutral Wheel Cleaner. It's also a Iron Fallout (Ferrous) Remover that can also be used on your vehicle's paint work to remove iron fallout to reduce time on the decontamination process.

Similar products such as CarPro's Iron X, Dodo Juice Ferrous Dueller etc. does the same job. 

We do not recommend acid wheel cleaners. If it's not handled correctly, it will damage your wheels. 

Get your gear ready. What you'll need: 
1) Dirty Wheel 
2) Your wheel cleaner 
3) Wheel Brushes, we are using wheel woolies
4) A bucket  
5) High pressure washer 

Fill the bucket up with water and put your wheel brushes into the bucket and allocate up to 10 minutes per wheel. Sometimes it might take longer, depends on how dirty the wheel is. 

Spray the product evenly on the wheels, ensuring a full coverage and let the product react with the brake dust. For a iron fallout remover, it will turn purple. 

Using the Wheel Brushes (We are using wheel woolies) of different sizes, scrub thoroughly over the entire wheel, including the inner wheel. 

If your brake calipers is too big for the wheel brushes to get in between, move your car forward/backwards a little to make sure you can get a full coverage. of the inner wheel. 

Rinse your wheel brushes in the bucket you've prepared and move on to the next wheel. 

Using a high pressure washer, thoroughly rinse out all the chemicals and tada! You have a nice, clean wheels. After this stage, we usually start washing and decontaminating the paintwork.
