Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR
Full Detail (Exterior and Interior)
To start off, this 3 year old Evo hasn't been detailed in the past 12 months, apart from regular washing to keep it clean. it has some water spots and very minor paint defects and the paintwork just doesn't smooth (gritty) from day to day driving, losing its lusture.
We start the detailing process by high Pressure Rinse to rinse off heavy dirt and grime, followed by a 2-bucket method to wash (safest way to wash a car without instilling swirlmarks) and then dried with a microfibre waffle weave drying towel from TAC System. (We avoid using chamois "shammy" because that's one of the main reasons it causes swirls on your paintwork.)
There's a lot of heavy tar and bug spots adhered to the paintwork from day to day driving and because the car itself originally doesn't have wax, it sticks to the paint.
TAC System's Tar Zero is then used to remove the tar and bug spots. It's also very effective when comes to remove stickers and vinyls.

Wheels is then cleaned using TAC System Iron Zero (iron fallout remover, brake dust are generally iron, whenever iron zero comes in contact with iron, it turns purple)
It has heavy bonded contaminiants on the paintwork and it feels really gritty, an intensive medium grade clay bar treatment was carried out to remove any above surface defects.
After all the decontamination process, an exterior detail is then carried out to remove some of the paint defects and bring up some gloss and wax to bring back the brand new feeling again.
